Last Saturday evening we did one of Sweet Floral’s increasingly popular Flower Crown Workshops for 15 Hen’s who had an evening to remember. Here is a photograph of the ladies modelling their creations before hitting Northbridge!

It was great for Sweet Floral to do the wedding bouquets and table arrangements for Jaye on Saturday at The Old Swan Brewery on what truly felt like the first day of Spring. At last we all cry! It was quite simply a stunning day and where better to be than the Old Swan Brewery overlooking our majestic river. The Old Swan Brewery looks great thanks to the fantastic set-up by Carolyn of A Flamingo Surprise.
Jaye chose a Large bouquet with soft pink David Austin Roses, white cream Roses, white Carnations and soft pink spray Roses, little soft green greenery, finished with ivory ribbon down the stems. Her bridesmaids had Medium bouquets with Baby Breath, very soft pink spray Roses , soft cream spray Roses finished with ivory ribbon down the stems. We also did a small flowers crown with Baby breath for her Flowergirl. Here is a photograph we took in our workshop of all the wedding flowers together before we delivered them.
Sweet Floral also designed 4 Fishbowl displays for the Bridal Table. Here is a photograph of one of them, consisting of Baby breath, white spray Roses, pink spray Roses and Ranunculus.
In addition each guest table had three very small fishbowls with one stem of Baby breath, one stem on white spray Rose, one pink spray Rose and one stem of Ranunculus. Here are photographs of the pink and the white roses.
The Wedding season started early this year for Sweet Floral. Courtney’s wedding was on the 17th September. Courtney’s Wedding flowers consisted of a loose textured bouquet of white Roses, Baby Breath and seeded Jarrah.
We love so much receiving Feedback from Brides particularly when they include pictures.
Here is the note from Courtney about her wedding flowers:
I don’t have all my photos yet but wanted to say thank you for the beautiful bouquets you did I was in love!
Here is a couple I have so far 🙂
Thanks again Courtney for choosing Sweet Floral for your wedding flowers. Everything looked beautiful.
Australian Native Flowers from WA are perfect for wedding flowers. On Saturday Sweet Floral designed the wedding flowers for Danelle. Danelle’s wedding took place at Fairbridge Village near Pinjarra. The venue lends itself perfectly to the theme of native and soft spring flowers. Amongst the flowers are Proteas, Geraldton Wax, Roses and Ranunculus. Pictures of the brides’ and bridesmaids bouquets are below.

For Hen’s Nights, Flower Crowns, both wearing and making, are becoming increasingly popular. On Saturday we had a request to design 2 Flower Crowns for a Hen’s Party. Even better, one Crown was in Native Flowers and the other a traditional crown of Roses and Baby’s Breath. The photograph below shows the results:
It was lovely to receive the following feedback:
Just wanted to say thank you again for the beautiful flower crowns you made for the girls on the weekend. They loved them and they looked absolutely stunning! Beautiful work!

Last Saturday we designed the Wedding Flowers for the stunning Catherine at, one of our favourite venues, Peel Manor in Karnup. It was great for the Sweet Floral team to receive this amazing photograph of Catherine and her bouquet from Compose photography. Catherines bouquet composed of Soft Lilac and white roses. Everything looked stunning. Well worth checking out Compose photography, Peel Manor and of course the Sweet Floral Website.

When we do Wedding Flowers, bouquets and table arrangements, it is always heartwarming to receive a thank you from the bride. We designed the flowers for Rachel’s wedding day on the 27th August 2016. The flowers where collected from our workshop the day before and taken down south for the country style wedding the next day. Rachel was a bride that the Sweet Floral team never met in person but liaised by email, Facebook and the telephone.
Here is the message I received from Rachel this week;
I just wanted to say, thank you so very much for my beautiful wedding flowers. I loved every single part of them and they fitted our country wedding perfectly. I couldn’t have asked for more. You do an amazing job and should be very proud of the service you provide.”
Rachel also sent a photograph of her medium, just-picked bouquet which consisted of soft pink roses, blue delphiniums, white roses, & white and soft purple freesias.
It was an absolute joy for the Sweet Floral team to do the wedding flowers for Viktoria and Mick at the Rendevous Grand Hotel in Scarborough on the 1st of October. Though the weather was wet and windy Viktoria looked as beautiful and colorful as the loveliest of Perth Springtime days. Here she is with Mick in a great portrait by James Burton Photography. Perfectly capturing Viktoria’s stunning dress, her beautiful bouquet, and fantastic hair and make-up by Total Brides…….
Here are the happy bride and groom with their wedding cake created by Vines Cakes and decorated with flowers from Sweet Floral. Incidentally all the suppliers mentioned are members of Let’s Get Hitched.
Finally a photo by James Burton Photography of Viktoria’s Shoes and her amazing bouquet created by Sweet Floral. The bouquet consisted of seasonal flowers in burgundy, mauve little red and silver foliage. Flowers used included Calla lillies, stocks,tulips,spray roses and dusty miller to give a soft textured look. Like Viktoria the wedding flowers looked amazing.
As a postscript we take great pleasure in publishing these kind words that we’ve just received from Viktoria about her wedding flowers;
We just wanted to extend a huge thank you for the fantastic job you & your team did for our wedding last weekend at the Rendezvous Hotel. All of our bouquets were gorgeous, both our Mums’ and Mick’s flowers were spot on. The Mantelle Room & our cake looked amazing we can’t wait to see all our photos from James Burton. I will send you a couple when he sends them through to us. All of our guests commented on how great everything looked. We can’t thank you enough, we will definately recommend you.
Thank you Viktoria!
