Anyone who has followed this blog over the years will know how much we love to be invited to design the flowers at a Perth institution like Sandalford Winery. For a full update on what Sandalford Winery can offer check out the weddings section of their website. As this was a large wedding with over 200 guests then the reception took place in the Underground Cellar. Sandalford describe it as follows:
“The doors to the Underground Cellar open to reveal a stunning open space set with soft table lighting and lined with authentic American Oak barrels all filled with ageing port wines. Formerly a red wine maturation cellar, the Underground Cellar is now a stylish and contemporary function venue. With its generous capacity, outdoor pre-function drink area with lake vista and distinctive atmosphere, the Underground Cellar is ideal for wedding dinners up to 250 guests.”
Here are a selection of photographs we took of the table arrangements that Sweet Floral designed. Soft shades of lemon, white and green gave an elegant look to the room. We used over a thousand blooms in 200 jars provided by the bride and groom.
In particular it’s a joy when the couple are as lovely and great to work for as Audrey and Sim. It was an early start for the Sweet Floral team on Saturday morning. Bouquets , buttonholes, and corsages were delivered by 7.30am. We arrived at Sandalford in the early afternoon to ensure that everything was prepared in good time for everyone to arrive. Here is a photograph of the bridal table that we took.
Together with close-ups of a couple of the arrangements from the bridal table:
